President's Message

Please join us this Fourth of July as we honor the 231st anniversary of our Nation's Independence Day and the birth of a noble experiment in Democracy, with an Old Fashioned Parade The "Spirit of '76" Association and its all-volunteer non-political members have been presenting this birthday celebration for the past 42 years. This year will mark its 45th anniversary of giving back to the community a moment of pride and reflection.

The Parade starts at 1 o'clock at the corner of Micheltorena and State St. A grand march begins promptly and continues down State Street toward the Pacific, to end at Cota St. in Santa Barbara's Historic Old Town.
Have fun, be creative as we celebrate this year's theme: Honor the Past, Build the Future.
